QUEENSLAND SHOW CHOIR  Copywriting | Website

Queensland’s longest-running community choir needed to distinguish itself from audition-based choirs and the less-professional social choirs. The brief was for copy that was friendly and conveyed QSC’s appeal—a choir that provides quality vocal training in an environment that make singers feel part of a family. Best Content wrote new copy for the home page, the ensembles and the About QSC information, in a tone in keeping with the fun new website design.

JOHNNY ROCKET JEWELLERY Copywriting & strategy | Website & social media

After 20 years creating in London for the likes of Kylie Minogue, Alexander MacQueen,  Boy George and Swarovski Crystal, jeweller Johnny Rocket is launching his business in Australia. Best Content worked with SEO specialist The Lime Lab to coordinate a copy-rich website that would tell Johnny’s incredible professional story, hit SEO targets and showcase his exquisite jewellery range. Johnny is very much a rock’n’roller, so the copy could walk on the wildside a little.

EDGE STUDIO (CUTTING EDGE)  Scripting & production | Video

Leading Australian video production house Edge Studio (Part of the Cutting Edge Group) hired Best Content’s Lynnette Haas to script and location produce a feel-good event video for its international client, 11th Hour Racing. With multiple stakeholders involved, Lynnette worked to briefs from Edge Studio and its client, collaborating with Edge Studio’s shooter and video editor, to deliver a video that could be used on multiple platforms.

ARTS QUEENSLAND  Scriptwriting, direction & production | Video

When Arts Queensland launched its new initiative, Backing Indigenous Arts, it commissioned Lynnette Haas, of Best Content, to create an explainer video for related industries and to screen at events. Lynnette scripted, directed and produced the video, and also negotiated for country music performer Troy Cassar-Daley to appear. She worked with a freelance camera operator and an editor at a local production house to create this long-form piece.

It is distinctive though, because it is part of a global network of top-tier advisory firms, yet is of  a size that ensures clients receive personalised service from senior advisors. In writing the company’s new home page and services pages, Best Content needed to create a tone that reflected that mix—professional, reliable and approachable.
